2013 Golden Globe Awards nominations announced

Who’s in the running at the 70th annual awards?

The nominations for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards have been announced, with Les Misérables, Zero Dark Thirty and Django Unchained leading the pack.

As you might have expected, there’s a few forehead-slapping choices on there: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel features prominently, and Ewan McGregor’s nominated for Salmon Fishing In The Yemen (when The Impossible is surely a better showcase of his acting talent).

Elsewhere, there aren’t really any huge surprises, except for the fact that Tom Hooper missed out on a directing nod for Les Mis.

I'm sure it will be good, however has anyone even seen Django yet? How can it get nominated?

Morgan - The studios send out copies of the movies early to these award shows so that they can use them for marketing.

I am more annoyed at their tv nominations, they snubbed Mad Men and Game Of Thrones.
