Les Misérables has released a pair of new TV spots online, featuring a couple of snippets of new footage and lots and lots of singing.
The first spot features a few brief snatches of Anne Hathaway’s big 'I Dreamed A Dream' moment, alongside an eye-catching new glimpse of Valjean (Hugh Jackman) up to his waist in water as he works for the chain gang.
The second teaser is a slightly grander affair, featuring plenty of sweeping landscape shots as Hathaway belts out an extended chunk of her signature number.

Spectacular stuff, we’re sure you’ll agree. Although that PG-13 announcement at the end of the second spot serves to break the spell somewhat.
Directed by Tom Hooper and co-starring Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne, Les Misérables will open in the UK on 11 January 2013.

I just want them to release Trailer #2! It showed before Skyfall and was incredible!

Not a film I'm interested in really, but the better half is chomping at the bit for it. Slightly concerned by the over-reliance on Hathaway across all the trailers - she sounds magnificent, but they need to give some hints as to the rest of the cast and how they'll manage.
