Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino was born on 27 March 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

He exploded onto the movie scene with his debut feature, Reservoir Dogs, which he wrote and directed. He also made a small appearance in the film, as Mr Brown.

He followed his debut with Pulp Fiction, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1994. It also won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Tarantino has also directed several other iconic films, which all feature his signature mixture of pop culture dialogue and moments of extreme violence.

They include Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, and Django Unchained.
