Chairperson – Hampshire and Isle of Wight Pathology Consortium Shadow Board
This is a hugely exciting opportunity for an innovative and exceptional Chairperson to lead the development of a shared pathology service between Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
This challenging role will work with a plethora of stakeholders and provide strategic direction to reconfigure existing pathology services under a single board and management structure. To succeed in developing this new organisation as Chairperson you will need to demonstrate that you have:
- A track record of successful leadership of an organisation with a significant budget and of comparable complexity
- A considerable reputation for excellence, leadership and delivery within your field whether public, private or voluntary sector
- The ability to release the entrepreneurial talent within these high quality laboratories to the South of England and the rest of the country
- Excellent inter-personal, team leadership and communications skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with Board members and a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A portfolio of high level governance and organisational skills including strategic planning, financial management, risk management, organisation performance management and service development in a regulated environment
- Experience of managing change and collaborative working across organisations either in the private or public sector
- The ability to build a successful business engaging multiple stakeholders in the public and private sectors
- The ability to develop and maintain a high quality service that meets the needs and requirements of its customers
- The ability to set a vision and direction for future pathology services
