Seeing as the only interesting thing to happen to the Strolling Bones in recent years was Keith Richards falling out of a tree, it’s not surprising that this 50-year tribute concentrates on the early days.
Expect, then, a vivid spree of drug busts, premature deaths and other mishaps, reflected upon by Stones past and present amid a tsunami of archive footage.
Riotously entertaining, if tempered by the band’s current half-life as ageing shadows of their former selves.
