An established low-cost airline based in the Middle East region seeks a Senior Manager within Network Planning. The position will report directly into senior stakeholders and will be pivotal in the optimisation process of routes to achieve commercial objectives, strategic fleet and route network development.
The position will be crucial in assisting the exploration, identification and development of potential flight routes into popular destinations throughout the Middle East, North America and South Asia. The successful hire will also need to monitor competitor airlines, in terms of schedules, product, fleet, and effectively report findings back to major stakeholders. Fundamentally, the successful hire will assist with the development of the long term network strategy, whilst also considering the impact of potential acquisitions. No deals will be done unless there is the opportunity for network synergies to be realised.
This role will suit consulting candidates looking to move into industry who possess network planning experience or individuals directly within the Network Planning function of an airline seeking a more senior role or a move to a more exciting and growing organisation.
The successful hire will be offered the opportunity to progress quickly in to more senior roles subject to performance.
Ideally Candidates will have:
- High grade in a numerical degree and an MBA preferably in maths, statistics, economics or other equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within Aviation or Travel related disciplines.
- This could be from a consulting firm.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
- Clear track record of success. The candidate will need to demonstrate they have yet to hit a career plateau. We are looking for leaders of the future.
