The much awaited Private Banking Awards for 2011, from PWM and The Banker magazines, come as a whole new wave of structural change is about to hit the wealth management industry.

PWM/The Banker’s second annual Global Private Banking Awards were presented at a gala ceremony on the shores of Lake Geneva on 28 October. The evening event, which followed the 5th annual Private Banking Summit, was attended by an internationally diversified panel of private banks, asset managers and product providers.

Operating in a marketplace that has been significantly altered by the fallout from the financial crisis, private banks and wealth managers are adopting new business models.
