My client is looking to appoint a Finance Director to be a proactive, innovative and visionary catalyst for financial debate, improvement and development within the firm.
The successful incumbent will take an overview of the firm's financial strategy, planning, monitoring, management and financial reporting. They will provide clear management ideals and develop policies, systems, processes for the personnel involved.
Responsibilities will include:
- To provide impartial and objective advice and direction to the Management Team (MT) and the partners on all aspects of the financial and commercial management of the firm
- To work closely with the strategic partners and the other members of the firm's MT to target firm growth, development and improved profitability
- Preparation and delivery of statutory accounts, monthly management accounts and annual budgets
A qualified accountant with a strong commercial finance background and a proven track record of achieving positive and substantial financial improvement. Experience of working within a professional partnership environment is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A background which highlights consistent growth and development within a parallel sector
- Capable of discerning and balancing the expectations of the owners of the business politically astute, diplomatic, focused and confident with exceptional presentation skills
- The ability to build trust and develop relationships through gravitas and credibility at all levels
- Excellent management and influencing skills
