Head of Sales – UAE

Prestigious Global FMCG giant seeks a Head of Sales for their UAE business.

My client is one of the most prestigious FMCG businesses in the world and is renowned globally for hiring the best Talent.

Based in Dubai, reporting to the Managing Director of UAE, your role will be to own the development and delivery of all business collaborative plans for all groceries, petro-marts, wholesale and new channels customers in the UAE, including the implementation of category growth plans and development & deployment of channel strategies, in addition to handling a team of over 70 people including sales managers, supervisors and reps.

You will build customer engagement by ensuring frequent company and distributor interface and collaboration with all the customers’ functions at head-offices and stores.

You will co-ordinate the deployment and the roll-out of S&D and category projects across the channels, including co-leading the UAE GTM transformation project.

You will be responsible for developing rolling business forecasts as well as delivering the periodical forecast, agreed volume and value KPI’s.

You will ensure the timely and effective implementation of the agreed category leadership display initiatives whilst efficiently managing the assigned Trade spend and driving the overall channels profitability by co-leading initiatives that improve the product mix, team productivity and the operational expenses of the supply chain to the customers.

In addition, you will also be responsible for coaching and managing the career development of direct and indirect reports (both company and distributor associates), targeted to improve both their behavioral and functional competencies and monitor their progress with regular reviews and coaching sessions.

This is a strong leadership role and, thus, outstanding communication and leadership skills are essential.

In addition, the ideal candidate will:

Have an excellent experience in a multi-national FMCG in a sales/trade marketing environment.

Have a mix of both strategic and operational sales roles have experience of managing multiple sales channels.

Currently be in a sales leadership position where he manages other sales managersbe between 34 and 40 years old.
