Let there be no doubt , Liam Neeson is a god among men.
It’s just a shame the follow-up to the film that incontrovertibly established that fact is one of the laziest in living memory.
Neeson is fantastic of course, and one scene of navigation-bygrenade is entertainingly preposterous.
It’s just a sad truth that there really are very few ways to be kidnapped, and diminishing returns sets in fast.
Content to throw a few stunt doubles around in some cod-Bourne action scenes, incoming director Olivier Megaton brings all the streamlined panache and rattling pace he brought to The Transporter 3 and Colombiana.
In other words, none.
