Job description

  • Formulate, direct and coordinate business development activities, policies and strategies to promote products and services, working within regional sales and operations teams
  • Foster relationships with clients, NOC and IOC’s, to ensure alignment of Product Development and operation with the business model
  • Oversee the tender procedure for the regional teams and assess their commercial evaluations, business case and revenue recognition
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and current client intelligence data base
  • Ensure accurate intelligence of competitors, understanding their contracting strategies, pricing goals and target markets
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with sales team, and engineers, to market products and services
  • Ensure literature describing product and service offerings, technical datasheets, advertising, PC website meet required standards
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction

This position requires meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring that the Client’s objectives are always understood and communicated to the Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Operations teams.

  • Extensive travelling worldwide
  • Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings

Who we are looking for

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Engineering/Business Degree with excellent oilfield services experience
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commercial awareness with a bias for identifying and pursuing business opportunities
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services

This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
