Job description:

Hedge fund headquartered in Stamford, CT with several billion dollars under management is seeking exceptional candidates for its operational efforts.

Candidates should have a strong intellectual background as well as excellent programming abilities.

Who we are looking for:

Candidates should have the following skills:

• Degree in computer science or related field
• Minor or additional coursework in finance or business administration preferred
• Proficiency in an object oriented language: C# (preferred), C++ or Java
• Proficiency in SQL on any major relational database system
• Proficiency with SSRS reporting
• Proficiency with Bloomberg
• Experience with windows user interface development (WPF, WinForms, DevExpress) a plus
• Experience in a .NET environment
• Data warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of finance, accounting and statistics
• Highly motivated self-starters, with the ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
