Sony's just dumped the pre-order price for the good-looking Xperia Z on us. What's the price of entry for the waterproof "superphone" club? Why £529 of course. Ouch. Read More >>
If there was one word to sum up general opinion on the BlackBerry 10 launch, it would be 'meh'. There's a feeling that it's too little, too late. But we've been here before -- back in 2009, with Palm, and it seems that BlackBerry's going the same way. Read More >>

So, BlackBerry's finally pushed a new flagship out, and like any good flagship phone it's packing LTE. In fact, it's available on 4G right now, thanks to EE. The most interesting thing, however, is it'll also potentially support the other UK networks' 4G -- Vodafone calls it "4G-ready" -- but, there's one small issue: Only one of our UK 4G auction bands is actually supported. BlackBerry's QWERTY handset for BlackBerry 10 is here. BlackBerry 10 does away with a lot of baggage that has been holding BlackBerry back, but the QWERTY keyboard is here to stay, and this slim, lightweight Q10 phone is its future. Read More >>
If the rumours are to be believed, the magic Google fairy will be delivering a job-lot of Nexus 4s to the UK Play Store at 3PM today. While we can't confirm the exact time, the omens point to it being back in the UK in the very near future. Suffice to say, if you're hankering after a N4, I'd be on the Play Store website at 2.59. The Nexus 4's one hell of a phone -- if you can get your hands on it, that is -- but you can only buy it in boring 'ole black. However, for the fashion-concious ladies (and gents who don't like black), Google might just have a white Nexus 4 prepped for sale. Read More >>
If you've been looking forward to seeing what HTC's got up its flagship phone-shaped sleeve, we've got good news: HTC's holding an event in London on February 19th to launch what's probably the incoming M7. Is there's going to be a new King of the Androids wandering about before MWC? Looks like it. Read More >>

According to some new research, there's £6.86 billion of second-hand handsets just sitting around UK homes doing nothing. Although this is sort of interesting by itself (though the 'research' should be taken with a lethally large pinch of salt), the most shocking thing is the most valuable second-hand phone in the UK. And no, it's not an iPhone. Read More >>

iPhone 5 users have been waiting a long, long time for a jailbreak. Sure, the current versions of iOS have been opened, but unlucky kids with A6 chips, and the fancy new Apple devices they come in, have been fat out of luck. But no longer! Probably. Read More >>
We've all broken our share of phones, and generally the only day-to-day danger they face is a three or four foot fall, or maybe the odd puddle of water. Norwegian X-Games competitor PK Hunder's phone had a bit more to deal with when he lost it in mid-air, half-way through a 720 during a practice run. Read More >>
