The CBI, the UK's premier business lobbying organisation, providing a voice for employers at a national and international level, is appointing a Resources Director.
Working in an intellectually stimulating environment, you will be responsible for ensuring effective strategic financial and people management as well as overseeing financial and human resource administration and controls, compliance with legislation, Information Systems development and property strategy.
The Resources Director is a strategic and managerial role which reports to the Director General and working closely with other CBI Directors and contributing to senior management decisions. The role has a key function in the overall leadership of the organisation and in ensuring the Resources team contributes to the achievement of the organisations business strategy. The successful candidate will therefore be a confident leader with strategic aptitude and the ability to influence and inspire.
Applications from professionally qualified accountants with strong financial, Human Resources and pension management experience as well as a passion for developing people are welcome. Successful applicants will also have a proven leadership record and experience of operating at a senior management level. An understanding of Information Systems and property is preferable.
