Q: I forgot my username/password – how can I retrieve this?
A: Users can obtain their details at:

Q: How do I access my account to make changes or pay my bill?
A: Visit the “Your Details” box located in the top right hand corner of every page to view your subscription details, upgrade your subscription, change your personal information and update your credit card.

Q: Why am I having problems viewing FT.com on my computer?
A: There might be a problem with your browser settings. The site requires that you enable graphics and cookies in your browser set up as they are integral to navigating the site. You should also be sure that Java and JavaScript are enabled:

Q: Can I access FT.com on my mobile?
A: Users who wish to view FT content on the move have the following choice of handheld device services:

Q: How do I receive news by email?
A: First, make sure you’re logged into your FT.com account. Then, set up news by email by visiting:
http://app.ft.com/prefcenter/profile.cfm

Once there, you’ll be presented with all of our content options. Simply check the items you wish to receive and confirm.

Q: Is my information secure?
A: At FT.com we are committed to protecting your security/confidentiality. We know that when you use our website you want to be sure that your name, address, credit card details and other personal information will be kept safe and secure, and we therefore take stringent measures to protect your information both online and offline.

When taking your subscription details we use a secure server (128 bit SSL) which encrypts all the personal information you give us before it is sent, including your credit or debit card details and your name and address.

We also follow strict security procedures in the offline storage and disclosure of your information, to prevent unauthorised access.

Q: What are the differences between your registration and subscription packages?
A: Registering with FT.com is FREE and gives you access to more articles and registration-only products not available to unregistered users. Only subscribers get complete access to the site though.

Q: How do I obtain a receipt for my purchases?
A: Visit the “Purchase history” tab located in ‘My account’ once you have signed in. Next to each transaction you have made there will be a link to a receipt. Click on the link and you will find an option to print.
