David has been writing about UK workplace pensions since 2001 and was appointed editor of Pensions Week in 2008. He won trade journalist of the year at the Headline Money awards in 2009. Previously he has worked for Employee Rewards & Benefits and Professional Pensions.

Ian Smith, deputy editor, Pensions Week

Ian oversees the writing and reporting of all news and news analysis, and has been at Pensions Week since November 2012. Previously, he was deputy editor at schemeXpert.com. He has reported on pensions and investment for FTfm and the Financial Times, and has previously completed internships at the New Statesman and Reuters.

Pippa worked for The Times' science supplement, Eureka, before joining PW and schemeXpert.com in September 2010. She writes on a range of subjects for both the FT's UK pensions titles, specialising in legal and regulatory isses as well as the DC industry.
