Ina Christensen, Allergy Dept.
Ina's interest in the human body and natural medicine began while she was in school to become a massage therapist at the Alaska Learning Institute in 2004. Since then, she became an EMT and then found her way to Avante in 2007. She is now an Allergy Technician with Avante, having received her training from the American Academy of Environmental Medicine in Kansas City.
She uses the cutting edge technique of Serial Endpoint testing (SET) and Provocation Neutralization Testing (PNT) to treat and diagnose allergies. She believes that working with her patients to educate and communicate is the best and most affective way to ensure proper care. She specializes in environmental allergies, which include animals, pollens, molds, dust, dust mites, and many more. She also specializes in delayed or chronic food intolerances, treatment of the problem foods, and diet plans. She especially enjoys working with the ND's and ANP's at Avante to bring patients the best possible care.
