Portland police responded to five shooting incidents on Saturday, including one in the parking garage at the Lloyd Center Mall. There are no reports of anyone injured in the shootings, and no arrests were immediately made.

North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to report of gunshots at the mall near Northeast 9th Avenue and Halsey Street at 4:43 p.m. on Jan. 24.

Several officers immediately entered the parking garage but did not locate any suspects. Evidence of gunfire was found near the Barnes and Noble store on the Halsey side of the mall. One window at Barnes and Noble was damaged, but it is not clear if the damage is the result of gunfire.

According to police, a person was seen running out of the parking garage. He is described as an African American male wearing all dark clothing, bright-colored shoes, 5'7" tall, with cornrowed or dread-locked hair. He was last seen running northbound on Halsey. It is not known if this person is a witness, suspect, or victim.

The four other shooting incidents all occurred in the early morning hours:

• At 12:22 a.m., East Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to the report of a large fight and shooting outside the Mitchell Court Apartments, located at 5214 S.E. 72nd Ave. Officers arrived and located evidence of gunfire outside the apartments. Multiple people were contacted at the scene by police, but were uncooperative and refused to assist in the investigation. Occupants of one apartment were contacted and an adult male was discovered to have injuries from an assault but was uncooperative. He was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

• At 1:25 a.m., East Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to a residence in the 9900 block of Northeast Reedway Street on the report of a large fight in the street and that a female was hit by a car that sped away. Officers arrived and contacted the female hit and run victim, who was not seriously injured. She refused to cooperate with police and was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment. A possible suspect vehicle was located nearby and towed for Traffic Division investigators.

• While officers were conducting this investigation, they heard several gunshots being fired near them, just to the east of their location. Officers immediately responded to Southeast 103rd Avenue and Reedway Street and located evidence of gunfire. They did not locate any victims or property damage, however. Witnesses described hearing vehicles leaving the area immediately after the gunshots.

• At 2:02 a.m., North Precinct officers responded on the report of a shooting and cars speeding out of the area at Jag's Clubhouse, located at 605 N. Columbia Blvd. Officers arrived and located evidence of gunfire in the parking lot next to the bar. No gunshot victims or property damage was located. Witnesses said the shooting may have been part of domestic disturbance between a man and a woman. They both left in separate vehicles.
