The Outlook in Gresham, Ore., has an immediate opening for an education reporter covering four school districts in East Multnomah County. The position also covers several smaller beats assignments and performs some newsroom clerk duties. The Outlook is a twice weekly newspaper, which took first place in the 2014 general excellence category of the ONPA Better Newspapers Contest.

We are seeking a reporter who enjoys enterprise journalism and who demonstrates a commitment to community-based journalism. This reporter will write features, and cover general news and breaking news. This reporter also will embrace online and social media.
