Visit Request Form

Nothing beats a campus visit. We encourage you to explore all that RIT has to offer. There is so much to see and do during your visit from taking a campus tour, learning about RIT admissions and getting a closer look at our outstanding facilities. You may schedule a visit using the Visit Request Form or by contacting our Visit Coordinator at (585) 475-6736 or via email at visitRIT@rit.edu.

All prospective students and their families are invited to spend a day on the RIT campus. During an Open House visitors are able to meet faculty, tour campus, residence halls and academic departments, eat lunch in the student cafeteria and listen to a financial aid presentation.

Students who have been accepted for Fall 2019 are invited to spend a day on the RIT campus. During an Accepted Student Open House visitors are able to meet faculty, tour campus, residence halls and academic departments, eat lunch in the student cafeteria and listen to a financial aid presentation.

This is a perfect first look at RIT for students who are just starting their college search! High school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and their families can learn more about RIT academics, the admissions and financial aid process, and tour the academic and residential facilities.

Registration will be available early January 2020.

The 30th Annual College & Careers program at RIT is an amazing opportunity for you to explore career options through interactive academic sessions. These sessions include personal hands-on experience, demonstrations and discussions. Working with our renowned faculty and students you will discover and utilize the state-of-the-art facilities and technology available at RIT.

This two day career conference is designed to help students, who will be entering their junior or senior year in the fall, gain the experience and knowledge necessary to start making career decisions about their future. 

In addition, College & Careers is a great way to experience life as an RIT college student. You will get to sleep in our residence halls, eat in our student cafeteria and participate in Friday night social activities with other college-bound seniors. 

College & Careers also includes a separate (but optional) program for your parents, which will provide them with information about the college search process, financial aid and more.

Prospective Graduate Students

The Office is located in the lower level of the Bausch & Lomb Center building (Bldg. 77) which is the building closest to the Visitor Parking Lot (Lot V). Graduate study advisors in this office can answer general questions about our graduate programs, their admissions requirements, and the application process. Specific academic and curriculum-related questions will be referred to the graduate program directors and their academic departments. Use this form to plan your day including meeting an admissions counselor, an academic dept. Representative, a financial aid representative, take a campus tour, meet a veterans enrollment advisor and more

Prospective Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students

Come visit us to find out why choosing RIT/NTID means a superior education and a unique college experience.  If our Open House dates aren't convenient, please schedule a personalized visit. After you visit, your $65 application fee will be waived.

NTID Campus Visit

RIT/NTID invites deaf and hard-of-hearing students to spend a day at RIT. This event also is open to students interested in ASL-English Interpretation. Open House is an exciting experience: an opportunity to meet representatives from admissions, financial aid and faculty from academic departments. You will have an opportunity to view our residence halls and take a guided campus tour with a current student. After your visit, we will waive your $65 application fee.

Registration will open in August 2019

  • Friday, April 24, 2020 (Imagine RIT takes place on Saturday, April 25)

NTID Spring Open Houses will highlight the associate-level, Associate+Bachelor's degree and Pre-Baccalaureate programs for our deaf and hard-of-hearing students. We also will have a program for hearing students interested in our ASL-English Interpretation program. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will go until 5:00 p.m.

This specific Open House event is for students admitted into bachelor's degree programs for Fall 2020. This is an opportunity to learn more about your program of acceptance. You also will meet faculty, learn about financial aid, go on a campus tour and see the residence halls.

This event is specifically geared towards high school students who are beginning their college search process. During our Spring Preview Day, visitors are able to meet faculty, tour campus, residence halls and learn more about the admissions and financial aid process.

Registration will be available in February 2020
