Kind of expected this. They also no-showed at major 2022 conventions like Anime Central.

Maybe now that they’ve all but monopolized anime outside of Japan, they don’t need to reach out to fans anymore. Or improve their service. Or do anything but process our credit cards when we renew our subscriptions.

They own pretty much everything, why would they need to reach out to the fans anymore?

I think it makes more sense for them to attend existing conventions anyway.
