This for me is one of the best indie offerings this year and I would say it is worth the price point for sure, do yourself a favour and give it at try if you think at all it would suit you.

Competent, simple, challenging, funny and straightforward.

If you don't download this game, I'll send a clone of you to smack you. [Issue #17 – September/October 2015, p.30]

Alone or with friends, Extreme Exorcism is a fun game with a lot of content, great soundtrack and solid controls. If playing with friends is a big deal to you, this is not a title you can avoid adding to your collection.

Extreme Exorcism is a delightfully fun and charmingly chaotic experience which renovates itself with each round of play. Boosted by a visual and sound environment that fit its concept perfectly, it would gain even more if only it featured an online component.

It's a must-have title for Wii U indie supporters and fans of split-screen multiplayer.

Extreme Exorcism is a fun game bolstered by an extraordinarily unique concept.

Its simple but addictive concept works great, but it's meant to be played with friends. If you're looking for a 8-bit-ish local multiplayer, this could the right choice.

Hunting ghosts is taken to a new level as they copy the player upon being defeated, and the quick speed makes this a fun and frantic title, whether it is played alone or with friends. Between the arcade, challenge, and deathmatch modes, there is a lot to do for anyone looking for a simple and very enjoyable experience. The only drawbacks come from the lack of online play, but Extreme Exorcism is still great to play alone or with some friends.

A joy to play, and those after a frenetic indie fix with plenty of action should get themselves hooked up with Extreme Exorcism pronto.

Even with everything Extreme Exorcism does right, I never really felt the need or desire to come back; I played it, I kind of enjoyed it, but nothing makes me want to hop back in. Maybe others will feel different, but ultimately Extreme Exorcism is a game with some good ideas, a few noticeable flaws, and the absence of that one thing that can make a good game great.
