Mar 10, 2022STEAMWORLD HEIST is a fantastic but short indie game. It's not my favorite indie game, but it's close.

Jul 10, 2017SteamWorld Heist is a decent length when factoring in the wide range of difficulty settings, and the fact you will be playing some missions a few times. Essentially, this is a well-made squad-based strategy that gives a choice: go in guns blazing…. or go in gun blazing. While the game is heavy on the tactics, it's never heavy on subtlety. It's nice it wastes little time, but it also suffers from a lack of diversity because of it. It's thus probably better for those looking for a game to play on/off rather than binge over.

Apr 8, 2017All in, SteamWorld Heist is a fantastic entry in the turn based strategy genre. The visual style is trademark SteamWorld and shines on the Wii U, while the gameplay feels more direct and impactful thanks to it’s reliance on player aiming rather than chance.

Jan 22, 2017SteamWorld Heist is a stunning work that combines RPG, strategy and accurate aiming in a steampunk space environment that will put the player at the centre of a plot that is heavy in humour and which features a wonderful visual environment, as well as a soundtrack that fits perfectly within the game's universe.
