Instead, I was thinking, "This game is so awesome." That, or silently cursing Curve Studios for making a game that's equal parts insanely addictive and fiendishly difficult. That's a dangerous combination if you ever want to put a game down — though why you'd ever want to put Stealth Inc. down, I don't know.

Stealth Inc: A Clone In The Dark is a special game and one that shows off the sort of thing the Vita was made for. A game that is simple to play, both in quick bursts or for hours on end, that offers up a challenge and doesn’t hold back just because it is on a handheld, At just £7.99 you will struggle to find another game that offers as much content for the price. This is one game that won’t be hiding in the shadows for long.

Stealth Inc. A clone in the Dark combines a clever design with navigation puzzles, traditional platforming and a complete level editor.

As is befitting, Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark snuck up on gamers and took everyone by surprise. With so many inspirations there’s bound to be something that most will relate to, be it a belittlingly wry attitude, spatial logic puzzles or simply Sam Fisher’s goggles (minus a lens). Try it, buy it and you’ll experience a charming puzzler that hides everything but its devious charm.

Stealth Inc is hard and frustrating, still there's nothing satisfying as clearing a stage you thought you would never leave. For fans of puzzle game only, others may have to buy a new Vita after throwing one out of the window.

Stealth Inc. is packed with great level design and has a nice balance between tactics and reaction speed.

Take Super Meat Boy, give him the suit of Sam Fisher and add a handful of ingredients gathered from the best stealth game and two-dimensional puzzle-platformer. That is how you will get Stealth Inc: a Clone in the Dark, a title with a simple but incredible depth gameplay.

Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark is a belter: occasionally frustrating and sometimes incredibly demanding, but always enjoyable and well-crafted throughout. An essential purchase for any Vita owner who likes a challenge, with the (now) standard added bonus of cloud saving across both Vita and PS3.

Like the best puzzle games, it has a compulsive quality that makes you feel like a genius whenever you work it out.

Platform, puzzle and stealth in one single, addictive… and very bastard game. Take it and make yourself proud of your skills and patience!

Not quite a classic, but not too far off, Stealth delivers something the Vita hardly has in abundance and does so with the kind of smart game design that makes for an addictive ride.
  14. Interesting is the word. It’s interesting to see how each level works, how each element works together in a level so ingeniously. Stealth Inc’s mechanically fascinating, and holds you in just the right level of contempt as a player to keep you bashing your head against its heavily guarded walls.

We won't lie, we often cursed the day A Clone in the Dark was created. It is brutally unfair at times. So unfair, we considered buying a protective case for our poor PlayStation Vita, just to prevent us form smashing it to pieces after 100th or so unfair death scene. [September p.87]

This is a very fun, but also frustrating 2D-platformgame. It's all about figuring out puzzles, figuring out how to get to the next level. Your clone will definitely die a couple of times, but the way he smashes is very fun to look at, so you will probably not feel sorry. This videogame with more than 80 levels is definitely worth your money.

Steath Inc. is a mind-bending puzzle game that deserves all your attention. Brilliant, ironic, tricky, is also a well designed stealth platform that knows how to involve and challenge players.

In its finest moments Stealth Inc is one the best games in the stealth genre. Unfortunately the level design is sometimes lacking and towards the end the game it becomes more about frustration than about entertainment. With all things considered it's worth a closer look if you are connoisseur of the sneaking genre.

Delicious and interesting on the streets and warm enough at home, so it is Stealth Inc.

Stealth Inc. can be horribly frustrating, because you can't know what'll happen in advance to you hitting that switch. A quick death is therefore always lurking around the corner. Ironically it is at its funniest when breaking the fourth wall and rubbing your mistakes in your face. Whoever won't blow up from dying time and time again, and has the patience to learn from their mistakes, could have a lot of fun with Stealth Inc. A Clone in the Dark.

In case you haven't had enough puzzle platforming on PS Vita, Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark provides the goods.

It does exactly what we expect of a ‘smaller’ game nowadays. It’s stylistically interesting, brings bite-sized gameplay in a steady pace, gives you an insane challenge and every now and then a quirky comment is made about the player. On paper it looks like a success story, but lack of character make sure that this game never becomes more than a series of faceless challenges. A shame, because with a little more soul this game could’ve been great.

    Story:
You play a clone who is being tested by an unknown see-er to see how good your stealth skills are. That's really it as there's virtually no story here. This is a simple indie game, so it should come as no surprise.

    Gameplay:
This is one of those addictive games that punishes you A LOT, but gives you that satisfying feeling of beating something hard. The controls are pretty basic as you can only jump, move left to right, crouch, hang on edges, push certain objects, activate switches, and hack terminals.
The level design for the most part is well made. There are 8 sections here and each one adds something new to the game whether it be a new enemy type or mechanic. Because of how much I died, this took me a few hours to complete. Overall, the gameplay is frustrating but addictive, and if you can't take the heat, you can always skip a few of these missions. 8/10

    Graphics:
The game doesn't take full advantage of the PS Vita, but it still looks good. I like how the game uses shadows, the lighting is solid, the minor gore is cool to see. and some of the enemies and bosses are well designed. For a 2D-indie game, the visuals are nice. 7/10

    Sound:
I like the nice techno stealth score the game had. While none of the tunes match the scores from Mission Impossible or James Bond films, they're still nice to hear. 7/10

    Verdict:
This is a fun stealth game that rewards patience, timing, personal reflexes, and skill. This game is definitely worth buying for its cheap price.
