    Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective's remaster is a cleaner and smoother version of the DS classic which is one of Capcom's best games. If you've not played it before, you're in for a treat. This month is very busy with major releases, but Ghost Trick with its excellent revival is a trick you don't want to miss.

    Having seen this case through to the end and witnessed every last revelation Ghost Trick has to offer, I can confidently say its reputation is well-deserved. Fiendishly clever, excellently paced, and endlessly full of surprises, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective truly deserves its time in the spotlight.

    Though some players might be turned off by its one-and-done nature, I would prefer to describe Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective as "singular". It's an experience that, once cleared, feels complete from any angle, with nothing needing to be added or cut to be unforgettable.

    I enjoyed this game on the Nintendo DS back then, and enjoyed it even more now. Updated visuals and an orchestrated soundtrack (with an option to switch to the original), An art gallery that unlocks as you progress through the game, and a good story with likeable characters. It is well worth it!
    Only cons I would say are having no physical release outside of Japan, and not having an optional 16:9 mode like the Onimusha remaster. But I think it was kept in 4:3 only for narrative reasons. Also the framerate is inconsistant with no way to change it on the Switch version.    … Expand
