Does the public data include deleted questions?
It has happened twice now that I went looking for an answer I knew I wrote, but couldn’t find anymore. I suspect that I couldn’t find these answers because they were deleted along with a question. If that’s true, then it would be nice if there were some way to get that data back.

dumps do not include deleted questions and answers — way too much noise / spam. Email us directly via the address at the bottom of every page if you need to retrieve deleted stuff.

I’m getting CRC errors when trying to extract the file, from SO/comments.xml onwards. A hash check against the torrent file showed no errors.
Has anybody successfully extracted the files?

Oops .. yep, corrupt in my download as well. Stand by, re-uploading, takes about 40 minutes..
WinRar was consistently producing a corrupt archive on my end (??), so I switched back to 7zip “maximum” compression. The torrent should be good now!
Sorry about that.

@Jeff: That’s what you get for not using 7-Zip on the first place ;)
