FAQ Question #23

» How do I control who can post comments in my journal?

To specify who can comment to your entries, go to http://www.livejournal.com/editinfo.bml and find the option labeled "Who can reply to your entries?". Here you can choose to allow anyone to comment, only registered users (which disables anonymous commenting), or only your Friends.

From here, you can also disable all comments entirely or adjust your comment screening settings. If you are having trouble with a particular user, you may wish to ban them instead.
