Quote# 81901

And by the way: the dinosaurs didn’t all die. Noah must have taken some with them. They show up in too many works of ancient and “native” art. And some of them are alive today.

We’ve got a pod of them in Lake Champlain, Vermont, and the Canadians have them in Lake Okanagan, BC. There was a pod of them in Loch Ness, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all dead by now, because that lake is so disgustingly polluted.

We had dragons throughout Western Europe, until the medieval knights hunted them to extinction. The dragons in China lasted a little longer; Marco Polo saw one of them.

Marco Polo was also either mentally ill or fond of impressing his buddies with tall tales.

So what's your point? Let's say there are still dinosaurs around somewhere. So what? There are still horseshoe crabs around, and they were in the fossil record long before the dinosaurs. Coelacanths were thought extinct 65m years ago (same time as the dinosaurs) and they found one alive in 1938. What difference does it make?

I kinda like his shout-out to Champ.
He's our Nessie.

ps.
The sturgeon in Lake Champlain get huge.

He is correct. Completely. Fully documented. Not only were there dragons in the Lakes, but also by the sea. Jackie Paper used to play with one named Puff about 35 years ago.

As far as showing up in art- what, our ancestors were completely devoid of imagination? What do you think they would envision if they saw a fossil of a huge creature?

Pods of dinosaurs? This is news to the rest of the world.

Dragons- medieval fantasy literature is not history! also, see above about imagination and fossils (dinosaur bones are still sold to this day in Chinese folk medicine as "dragon" bones)

Proof, please. A corpse, a fresh skeleton, a clutch of eggs, for someone to examine and give a taxonomic name to, or it doesn't exist. Photoshopped pics won't cut it.

Ogopogo is a tourist trap, not a real creature living in Lake Okanagan, which happens to have heavy human habitation on its shores. Please talk out your ass for your own nation only, thanks. This Canadian thinks you're so full of shit, it's pouring onto your keyboard, Terry.

You guys, it's all true! He said that the aliens told him so right after he saw them abduct Elvis and Bigfoot! The only reason you guys don't believe him is because the Reptilian NWO is brainwashing you all with microchips!

Egads, you're right. All you have to do is go to the Indonesian island of Komodo. I hear their bite is magical!

Is this a poe?

Not necessarily.

By definition fundamentalists are forced to believe every single little bit of goofy crap the Bible has to offer. No cherry picking for a fundie.

So, they swallow their pride and turn off their brains and come up with the wierdest bullshit imaginable to help underscore their main fantasy.

It's the same story as when total losers live in denial and place the blame for their failure on others: they're living a lie and have to feed it with whacky crap so they can keep believing it themselves.

This crap from someone who calls himself,
"Terry Hurlbut"
Terry sounds similar to the latin 'tierre'
meaning earth or dirt.
Hurlbut looks like a word that would mean
'Throwing an anal orifice'
So what we have here is dirt throwing it's ass around. I rest my case.

Moronic idiots like this regardles of their rreligious affiliation should be euthanized. How fucking stupid do you have to be to take Noah's ark literally AND even if you did, believe dinosaurs are still alive?

Dumb ass, and this comes from a religious person.

I love how the delusional turd put the word native in quotes, as though it were a euphemism.

For stuff like this we need to invent just one word that says 'fucking stupid ignorant dumbass lying bastard thinks he can get away with this totally lame bullshit?!' Because it would be easier to type.

These guys would like to know why you say they are extinct while claiming that dinosaurs are doing fine in secret colonies out of our sight.

Komodo dragons are pretty badass, but they aren't really dragons. Or dinosaurs. It's a nice fantasy, though.

@Towey: Lake Champlain crosses the Canada/US border, and part of it actually is in Vermont. A stopped clock and all that...

@ TakoTaco:

So throw some alligators and crocodiles at him. No, literally!

Yeah, Towey! I've been there, too! Me & my family used to take camping trips to The Andirondacks & The Thousand Islands almost EVERY YEAR & we'd occassionally drive by Lake Champlain as well. New York in the West, Vermont in the East & Canada in the North.

Oh, I like making up stupid names too: HAIRY HALIBUT!!!!

6/14/2011 8:22:44 AM

I've been sailing on Lake Champlain many times and I never saw any dinosaurs
