Setting up job alerts

To set up a job alert email, you must be a registered user and logged in on the site.

Once you’ve created a job alert email, we will send you a daily email whenever any of the job searches you’ve included match jobs posted onto the site during the previous 24 hours. The single daily email will contain job matches from all of the individual saved searches you’ve opted to include, grouped together under each saved search name for your ease of reference.

You can discontinue all or part of your job alert email at any time by logging in to My Account and using the ‘remove’ option. To stop receiving any job alert emails, just make sure you remove all your saved searches from the email alert. Alternatively, you can use the “unsubscribe” link at the foot of your daily email.

Job alerts are based on searches you create and save using Advanced Search. Select the criteria you wish to use, run the search to make sure that it produces the type of results you expect, modify it if needed, and then select the ‘create email alert’ option, either from the foot of the search results page or on the Advanced Search page itself. You will be prompted to name and save it

You can manage your saved searches and job alerts through My Account. There, you can edit them, review, run, add new, delete altogether or just remove from the daily email.

If you’re not getting job alerts regularly after setting them up, first check (in My Account) that the search/es your email alert is based on are returning results on the website. If they are not, review your criteria: you may need to broaden them so that more jobs are selected.

If that’s not the issue, then check that your spam filter is not trapping our mails, and amend your settings to allow email from jobs@exec-appointments.com.

From your job alert, you can click through to the full details of any of the jobs listed, and shortlist, save, share and apply as normal.
