With the recent announcement that "Star Wars: Episode VII" is on the way, there's been much discussion of what the new film would be about, not to mention who might show up in it.
Apparently there's talk that Harrison Ford has been approached to reprise his role as the dangerously handsome Han Solo, and now Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have announced that they are in discussions about reprising their roles. George Lucas told the actors that their parts would be written out if they didn't take them, so we don't have to worry about some new faces taking over the roles of our beloved heroes.
While the creative direction for "Episode VII" is still in the planning stages, Hamill told Entertainment Weekly that he would love to see a return to retro effects for these films, rather than the traditional CG effects audiences have grown used to. Original actors, original effects -- what more could fans ask for?
